Did you know...the Sisters of Mercy were founded in 1831 on a bequest to Catherine McAuley, our foundress. Motivated by a passion to help the poor, Catherine used this gift to establish the House of Mercy in Dublin. She left a legacy that now begins its third century of healing and hope. You can follow in Catherines footsteps by joining The Legacy Society.
