The Catherine Award

Named in honor of Catherine McAuley, founder of the Sisters of Mercy, and Catherine Seton, first woman to join the Sisters of Mercy in New York, this award honors an extraordinary person whose life reflects God's call to make mercy visible in our world.

Sisters of Mercy
Sisters of Mercy commit our lives to serving God's people, especially those who are poor, sick, and uneducated. In the spirit of the Gospel, our mission is to empower individuals to overcome the obstacles that keep them from living full and dignified lives.

All proceeds from this evening's benefit will directly support Mercy Center in the South Bronx and the works of Mercy of the New York Sisters.
