Founded in 1978, Mercy Volunteer Corps is a national, volunteer lay ministry program sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas. Volunteers commit to serve those in need for a period of one or two years. They live in a supportive community and receive a small monthly stipend. Placement opportunities include adult literacy instruction, care for persons with AIDS, housing development, nursing, public relations, shelter coordination, social work, and teaching. Volunteers serve in rural and urban areas among people of diverse cultures. Recent college graduates welcome! Visit with Mercy Volunteer Corps members and experience their unique gifts.

Mercy Association is a way for Catholic women and men to deepen their spirituality through a formal covenant with a regional community. Each Associate extends our mission in her or his own way, while maintaining an independent lifestyle. Associates have many opportunities for friendship, prayer, service, and hospitality, and often attend our community gatherings. Visit with Mercy Associates and experience their unique gifts.
